More from The Pond . . . it was bitter cold with lots of ice and snow. We spent New Year's eve mostly inside, but did venture out to two favorite spots on the lake. Little Girl's point and Saxon Falls. When we got back we had a lovely hot meal and Dan finished reading Winter Cottage by Carol Ryer Brink.

Its a bit hard to tell in these pics, but the trees where striped with ice. It was beautiful!
