One of my favorite days of the year is Valentine's day. Not just because I get flowers from my Valentine, or we give our children music as a reminder of how we love them. I enjoy it because I love the decorations I get to use. A few years ago my Grandpa Muzzy blessed me with a box. Inside this box were some colorful and fun valentines he had received as a child. Every year I have the great joy of displaying these little notes to Bobby from his classmates. Here is a peak into the past.

I do love my flowers from my Valentine as well. The are a lovely reminder of spring. 

Got away with my girl. Watched some fantastic musical movies, ate some not so great for you food, but oh soooo yummy. Got to see some crazy ice sculptures, and spend time learning more about my daughter. Thankful for the gift of these days together.

I snuck into her room today while she was gone. She is a lovely young lady who enjoys the pretty, the warm, and the soft things of life. Precious cannot begin to describe how I feel about my first born, my daughter. Beloved and sweet, I pray her heart will always be tender and her purpose found in the hands that hold the world.
